I welcome the opportunity to contribute to the work of InSEA as a World Councilor for Africa and the Middle East.
In 2017, I joined InSEA community and participated in the 35thWorld Congress. As an active member, I recently co-organized with Mrs. Teresa Torres de Eça, President of InSEA, an InSEA meeting in Tunis at B’chira Art Centre.
If elected, I would like to raise the awareness of InSEA in Africa and the Middle East region, bring to this position the knowledge I have gained through my experience and use my expertise to federate different actors in the region and to initiate new actions and projects. I have developed different skills in cultural project management and I have a strong commitment to nurturing collaborative relationships.
Thanks to a triple academic curriculum in Museums and Heritage, Cultural Studies and Communication, I developed several professional skills in project management in the cultural field.
After different professional experiences in communication agencies, I have developed an interested in art history, art market and cultural industries. Thus, I joined Avesta Group, the Friends of the Centre Pompidou and le Troisième Pôle (Scintillo) teams expanding my skills in international relations, partnerships, communication and sponsorship.
As a consultant, I participate at international scientific meetings where I present my research agenda focused on the extra-western artistic presence in the art history of the 20th century.
I have lectured at the 35th international congress of the International Society for Education through Arts (InSEA) (August 2017, Daegu, South Korea) and at the 3rd international workshop “Changes and Continuities, Global History, Visual Cultures and Itinerancies” (September 2017, Lisbon, Portugal)
